I honestly think a 4 makes sense. We are 1 game over .500 over the last 2 months. We aren't healthy. We had some bad losses in that stretch with KSU and OSU. We have given the committee plenty of reason to move us down, they don't need a B12 bias to do it.

And no offense to the OP but for God's sake I have no clue why anyone is using Lunardi and Palm to be the bellwethers. It's not hard to use Bracket Matrix to find who is truly good at this stuff.

It's just way too easy to send Wisconsin to Milwaukee. Especially with everyone hurt and not playing well for the last month.

Based on how they’ve played, they earned a four seed. No one should be surprised by this…
We've been playing really well the last 2 weeks so I'm not sure about this comment. We just destoryed Arizona and only lost by 4 to BYU playing a walk-on.

We have the overall resume of a 3 and it will be a travesty if we get bumped.

I posted this elsewhere, but basically the teams vying for a the last 2 seed and the 3 seeds are:

  • Iowa State
  • A&M
  • Kentucky
  • Wisconsin
  • Maryland
  • Texas Tech
  • St. John's
St. John's will take the last two.

Texas Tech will be top 3 seed
Wisconsin will be a 3 seed after today

That leaves ISU/Maryland/Kentucky/A&M. Four teams for two 3 seeds.

REALLY need Michigan to win this game over Maryland or I think they're a 3 for sure. Maryland loses and they're a 4 I think.

So it comes down to if the committee puts two SEC teams that lost early in their tourney and have kinda stumbled in recent weeks with no injuries over ISU who sat players in their tourney and have been battling injuries for a couple months.

I still don't trust the committee but we'll see. But Maryland and Arizona losing would be huge.
