They played a zone with a trap on screens and none of our guys can reliably create an open three on the outside. Gotta figure out someway to adjust to that

Hard for fans to get excited when the team can't make shots and makes bad turnovers and just runs screens at the top of the key over and over for an offense.

Need to get a sick dunk or something to get the crowd going. When you see a 6'9 dude do a contested layup while standing right next to the rim it's a lot less exciting than ******* slamming that thing.

Dunk the GD ball. Get the crowd HYPED.

Exactly......defensive stop/turnover, fast break, oop.....repeat.

Clearly our half court offense is run for one thing to happen and just force it even if the defense interrupts that play.
Other than maybe Jones, we don't have anyone with the improvisation/ball handling/shooting skills to get a quality shot off on their own.

We’ve got as many steals as points off turnovers, 7.

2 total assists. Broken record but when we move the ball, we win. When we play hero ball and dribble, we lose. I can’t imagine the coaches don’t know this but we continue to do it so it has to be execution on the players?

TJ needs to recruit physical, bigger guards this of season in the portal, plus a center who can actually rebound.

Tamin is undersized, Curt is skinny, Batemon is small.. We need some muscle on the wing

Man, Gilbert has been terrible since the trip to Tucson.

30/71 from the field (42%....really poor)
9/22 from 3 (41%...really good)
4 A/g (Solid)
5.5 T/g (Atrocious)

Before
103/199 from the field (52%)
15/49 (31%)
5 A/g
2.6 T/g

There's certainly a competition difference but there's no way to slice it...the after line isn't a starting guard on a good team.

It is called a good offensive game plan, you should spend more time watching the game. You adjust if you are not making shots.
