Only for MBB.

Not really, but it’s ramped up for basketball. Like imagine wanting to dunk on fans 5 mins after a big win…why. But it happens for football too.

Apparently fans need to only discuss what he thinks we should discuss (good god, don’t bring up Watson’s minutes or TJ’s struggles in February). Add in the overreacting to a few fan comments and then applying those few comments to the entire fan base…something is super odd.

Anyway, outside of our normal 5-10 min lull, that’s a grown up win. Still some to clean up and if this team can put together a full, or nearly full, game - we’ll all be super happy this March.

Gilbert puts TJ in a tough spot. He's a guy who he has been able to depend on in the past, so you cling to some hope that the light can turn on for him again. He's also a guy playing his last handful of games as a college basketball player. The emotional war that has to wage can't be a fun one for TJ or Keshon for that matter.
Keshon has really been getting the ball taken from him a lot recently trying to push down the court in transition after a turnover which was even more surprising than forcing a bad play in the half court

I think they get in. 9 wins between Q1 and Q2. But who knows. Could have a couple of bubble poppers out there this conf tourney season.

Here’s a fun one. Who are the 2 teams? More loooking at quads.

Bubble or NIT team, I don't think WV is a bad team and they had themselves a game that night, aided by ISU not being to keep it together or hit.

The final record won’t show that for a 4-5 game stretch the Tangcats were playing as the best team in the country unfortunately

KSU us like the bizzaro world Fake ID of college basketball. Same with Rutgers.

Some answers to previous questions. A replay should be on ESPN +, the student sections were full all the way to the top, and I think the crowd got very loud especially at the appropriate times. Not many people are going to going nuts when you’re up 10-20 points. And wait I think they just called another foul.
you wouldn't know it on the tv feed, they had it muted.

It's a weak bubble this year, so I think they get in too. And I will pick them to lose right away regardless of opponent.

Arizona shooting 25/27 on free throws is nutty, both for the # of times they were sent to the line and the # of makes spread out over the whole team, it wasn't just one guy going to the line a bunch and hitting them all.

It has probably been said enough but Caleb Love sucks. He'll end up being on an all-conference team because gotta have someone from Arizona in there, but 37% shooting and 30% on threes is not good, nor is 3.5 assists for someone who handles the ball as much as he does. Good FT shooter but that doesn't make much difference when you only get to the line three times per game.

Got torched last night by Tamin Lipsey, Nate Heise, and the version of Curtis Jones with pneumonia, so seems he's not a great defender either.

What is with this team? Even when they win it's like "That's great but..." Am I being over critical? Feels like something is lacking.
It's definitely not just you. It's been a thing with all of TJ's teams where no lead is safe. They really struggle to keep a lead after building it and it makes the games stressful as a fan even when we end up winning comfortably. I think it's from the bouts of going 5+ minutes without making a field goal, which we seem to do a lot.

Like in the Auburn game, lots of fans were seemingly so pleased when we only lost by two on a tip-in. I was seething! We led that game by 18 points and had a 15-point lead in the second half. "Auburn is really good!" Well what are we?

I don't watch enough of other teams to know if it's normal or something unique to us.
