They've got some talent for sure. maybe he can get it to gel. maybe not. that team he put together in his first season was a legit contender. no matter what happens, he did get them to an elite 8. something isu hasn't done in over 2 decades and only 2x ever.

To me their success that season was fully because of Markquis Nowell. Go watch any highlight and it's him going 1:1 and making a play. Tang did nothing. It's pretty obvious now he can't win by straight coaching.

and that was their undoing in the elite 8. No game plan whatsoever except let him go to work. Kid was great but they needed a better scheme and strategy in that game. FAU game planned for him, Tang couldn't counter.
