Who would he compare to in the current NBA? Which player. I’m starting to think the way the NBA shoots three pointers now he could be a good utility guy off the bench for a team. I don’t watch the NBA but wonder if any of you who do could see him catching on a team

The way the NBA shoots the 3 pointer now? As in, the last several decades?

The number of three-pointers attempted has been steadily rising for years, it is twice as high this year as it was 20 years ago.

I definitely enjoy the style of play more now. But I don’t think Curtis Jones NBA prospects are much different now then they would have been 20 years ago. To me the biggest difference is more skilled forwards replacing bigger, slower center types. And more positional versatility in general.

If he got a bit bigger a couple of names that came to mind were Malik Monk and KCP. Maybe a Josh Hart type since it seems like he does have a little dog in him.

In “today’s” NBA there is a place for bigger guards who can play defense and keep the floor spread.

Monk is quite a lot more athletic than CJ

Would love to see him go the the NBA and make millions seems like a great kid. If not, hope we can get him life altering $ as an NIL deal for his last year of eligibility. With CuJo back in the fold, we are likely to be really dang good, and one of the most experienced teams, yet again next year!

I think with his range and ability to play tough on both ends of the court he should probably be getting more draft buzz as season goes along. Teams probably wish he was a little bigger since not a PG

I thought he was done after this year.

Could possibly come back based on recent rulling that junior college doesn't count for NCAA eligibility. He spent a year at Indian Hills, therfore, may have an additional year.
But wasn't his JUCO year the COVID year that didn't count for anyone? Hasn't he played 4 years of NCAA ball since. It doesn't seem like the ruling would change his situation.

DWhite and Curtis are almost the exact same size. Dwhite 6'4" 190, CJones 6'4" 195. If you believe ESPN. I am a big Celtics fan so I watch a lot of DWhite (he is amazing). CUJO is as well. Really hoping he has a shot playing in the NBA. He has the tools.
For some reason I thought White was closer to 6’7”
