It's on my DVR, I suggest everyone tune in. No BS, just college basketball and you get to hear the sounds of March (which gives me the chills)
Exactly. I wrote this earlier in the thread before the game. You could tell during the pregame that CBS just does it way better than ESPN. Even on CBSSN, just high quality and no favoritism, just straight up excellent college basketball coverage. All you need to do is look at who CBS puts in the studio vs ESPN. CBS puts in a good balance of folks who straight up know the game of basketball. ESPN just puts in blue blood graduates who create controversy and pump up the big brands.

If Jackson getting 8 points 6 boards and assist and a steal with only 2 fouls is a complete disaster of a game we’re going to be just fine.

I think his one bad turnover when up 12 that ultimately lead to their big run was boneheaded (no need to out ball on floor there as a big).

Otherwise he was fine and Chatfield played his ass off so TJ kept rolling with him.

Beauty of the team this year. Not great games from anyone but managed to pull out a 10 point win on the road.

Even after that run you knew their shooting would cool off (they went 0-6 from three after going 4/5 early in second) and we’d close it out.

When the #3 team in the nation comes to town it is a big game.
Agree...we better understand that as fans that ISU is getting everyone's best shot...every game. The team knows that. I hope our fans know how tough the road is to be the hunted...not the hunter. Road wins are golden! And we just got one where I'm sure other teams may not.

Jackson was fine, and he's only going to get better. point is, he can take it to another level which is really exciting.

Martin let us incorrectly pronounce his name while he was at ISU! His kid pronounces it Ran-shiek rather than Ran-sick. 6-9 Freshman with 3 points, 2 blocks, 4 rebs in 16 minutes did his dad proud!
Who knows. I have a Czech name that no one pronounces correctly including my own family. Every now and then someone who knows the correct pronunciation says it that way and I just roll with it. Maybe Martin didn't really care how people pronounce it.

Well then these Buffalo's should be some of the best conditioned athlete's in the conference and run circle's around everyone..............right?

But they won't...in fact, they didn't tonight against a bunch of guys who train at about what, maybe 700 feet above sea level.. With all the timeout's and substitutions you don't need to be an Olympiad to compete and win at this altitude.
It's an addition to their home court advantage, but it is not insurmountable. One can easily see which team has the better & stronger athletes, but basketball nor any sport is 100% decided on that alone. Our depth was a huge advantage in this game, which allowed for more recovery & getting acclimated to the elevation. I've watched ISU hoops for over 45 years and many teams went to Boulder and experienced losses while not looking good in the process.

Anyone that's downplaying the altitude, go walk up 1 flight of stairs in Denver and tell me how that goes for you.
I once sprinted from gate to gate at DEN. I was in marathon running shape. I thought I was going to die.

Didn't make it in time, had to stay the night and catch a flight in the morning.

Hope not, went to watch it, and we do not get CBS sports on our streaming package and I did not want to spend $15 bucks for the upgrade. Hopefully they will not have many more broadcasts in the future.
Not even available here as an upgrade.

Edit: I'll have to do some more checking, but the offerings sheet they provided when the condo switched over a couple years ago doesn't list it anywhere and I scrolled the whole guide and didn't see it, even on unavailable channels.
