I haven't really been following football teams outside of the Big 12 this year. I've seen Boise ahead of the Big 12 champ in the playoff projections.

I just took a look at their schedule, and I'm not impressed at all. Is the whole reason they're ranked higher because they didn't get blown out by Oregon? Don't understand why the Big 12 champ wouldn't be ahead of them and get the bye.
