8.9 yards a rush and for some reason they just stopped running the ball in the 2nd quarter.
Who would have thought a defense that gave up like 200 rushing yards to an FCS school last week could have trouble stopping iowa on the ground. I'm stunned.

When you are already thin at linebacker you can’t have a starter in against an FCS team on special teams. Geez. We could really use Bacon today

I expect Iowa to play even softer on defense. There's still plenty of time for ISU if they can put together some longer drives.

Does Iowa's defense have no gaps past 2.5 yards? I've always heard there are always gaps, but maybe they don't have any.

We down numbers on LBs. Show 4 man front decent part of 1st half & defense buckled up. Now there's a sieve, in particular on the backside of those zone runs. Is it the end on that side or are LBs & safeties not fitting that gap?
