My impression is that he’s taking the scenic route.

He’s ranked higher than the two that are committed, and there’s on other who’s not committed that’s scheduled for an OV. Two of the three you reference are committed

For the record, I have no idea how well Alex will do at a competition like this. My impression, though, is that however well he does or doesn’t do, he’s an incredible fit for the Cyclone offense.
