Doesn't sound like it, per the Athletic article mentioned just above:

"Unfortunately, “Enter Sandman” is not in the game — licensing Metallica songs is really expensive. It has been replaced by a generic rock theme that sounds somewhat familiar. So that was a disappointment. (“Jump Around” is also not played in games at Camp Randall Stadium, for similar reasons.)"

ETA - it does go on to say this:

"While “Enter Sandman” is not in the game, “Zombie Nation,” “Sandstorm,” “Tsunami” and “Mo Bamba” are. We see the Army Corps of Cadets jump up and down for “Tsunami” before kickoff, something the TV broadcast rarely shows. Beaver Stadium plays “Zombie Nation” after Penn State touchdowns."

So at least some will be included, just not the big (expensive) ones. Can't wait!
Thanks for sending that (i should say, being less lazy than I) :)

Agreed....super excited. I was still playing 14 until last year and loved it...so certainly whatever is in the game will be far better both play wise and other enhancements. I also have to remember a lot of stuff in these games after watching once, i skip through (i.e. jump right to coin toss, etc).

I didn't opt for the premium "3 day early" but i'm sure those three days as folks discuss/drop info on X i'll be anxious to get mine downloaded.

This is the most in-depth review I've found from people they brought in to test it.

‘EA Sports College Football 25’ Early Gameplay Review

Not sure why Uproxx ended up with the best info, but it's very thorough and it has me pretty excited for the game. It sound more technical than what I'm good at so I'll probably suck for awhile but if they can make everything mesh well together it sounds like a great game.

They also did some other write-ups on specific parts of the game:

Everything We Know About Dynasty Mode In ‘EA Sports College Football 25’

Everything We Know About Road To Glory Mode In ‘EA Sports College Football 25’

‘EA Sports College Football 25’ Mailbag

This paragraph excited me to no end:

"Given how much the game is leaning into player skillsets and talent level mattering more than ever, the variability in picking your playbook (or creating your own) to match your talent is going to be key – and vice versa, making sure in a Dynasty you are recruiting talent that fits your needs."

That wear and tear system is going to completely change the game. Should be very effective at stopping people from cheesing with 4 verts and mobile quarterbacks.

The new kicking meter at 1:34 looks interesting.

Up to 8 abilities per player is going to be a lot of data to manage. This game looks really, really deep compared to anything we've seen before.

I wonder how customizable that is for online play. Will you be able to disable it. I haven't played Madden in years so not sure there is a ranking system.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was on a slider or something. I would bet it won't be customizable for online ranked play, but probably would for play now games.

Looks sweet, but damn it also looks complicated. That video has lots of interceptions and it's giving me nightmares about 5' middle linebacker verticals. Or DB's just sitting on my routes in perfect position. Or if I don't hold the pass button just right, boom, easy INT. I've played the old games a ton, but can't say I was ever a pro... looking forward to this nevertheless.

That's why I stopped playing Madden on console about 10-12 years ago - it stopped being a fun casual game for me. I loved the iOS Madden Mobile until the last couple years where they've made it overly complex, onerous, and to the point you have to spend 1-2K per year to have decent teams via packs. Probably not even going to give this a chance just because I don't like all the team management ****, I just want to play football.

You can just play Play Now games I suppose.

Did I hear correct that we will do a CF type dynasty/season mode? If so, which console should I purchase? I noticed it was not cross platform

Yeah, I liked the whole season and dynasty concept - when it was just rolling things over year to year. It was an absolute blast. I haven't even looked at it in a decade now out of an assumption it only kept getting more tedious to "manage" your team, injuries, stamina, etc. I don't want to "work" to play a game:)

Disclaimer - I've never played FPS, RPG, MMORPG, etc games. I'm a very casual gamer - pretty much the only thing I still play is Mario (vastly prefer the side scroll platformers), Mario Kart, Terraria, Bloons TD6, and Minecraft with the kids.

My console evolution basically went Intellivision, NES, SNES, N64, Wii, Switch, Mobile (was hard core player up through the end of N64 days). I'm very odd in that my interest died when things went 3 dimensional - with the exception of Mario, Madden, NBA Jam/Live, and Minecraft.

I have an xBox X and S (originally got the X pretty much only due to the promise of Ray Tracing in Minecraft, S was for the kids). X sits unused and the kids play Roblox and Minecraft on the S when not on their iPads (which they use 95% of the time).
