Yep I totally agreeMaybe, but that’s a solid pick up for them.
Fish, Hamiti, Plott is a pretty salty 165-184 stretch.

Completely agree, we all know how wrestling coaches are wired, of all NCAA sports something like that is going to happen first at a wrestling tournamentThings are going to get heated at some tournament and coaches are going to lose their cool over this stuff eventually. It’s going to explode in person at some point.
They are going to have quite a few guys in R12 next yearFish is perfectly fine but he doesn’t really move the needle. Not a guy I’d think will AA
Doesn’t 165 clear out pretty considerably?Fish is perfectly fine but he doesn’t really move the needle. Not a guy I’d think will AA
Working out with Hamiti will only make him better, and 165 should be an easier weight class next year, wouldn’t count him out for AAFish is perfectly fine but he doesn’t really move the needle. Not a guy I’d think will AA
Not to mention Olejnik clearly improved in that room too.Working out with Hamiti will only make him better, and 165 should be an easier weight class next year, wouldn’t count him out for AA
We do have a couple guys “developed” in Cuba. And 184 “developed” at ClarionWink wink hint hint.
It’s a lot easier to just go get guys that other programs have developed when you have unlimited funds!!
Cuba doesn't wrestle folkstyle. The coaches definitely put a ton of time into both of those guys to get them elevated to this style of wrestling. That was a bad example to try to prove your point. We do have a couple guys “developed” in Cuba. And 184 “developed” at Clarion
I will agree with Feldkamp but not the other two - they have both developed into folk style wrestlers at Iowa State , Ohio State didn’t do that for Ech, has improved since getting hereWe do have a couple guys “developed” in Cuba. And 184 “developed” at Clarion
Respectfully, the level of folkstyle skills by those two could be developed at any other college program and many high school programs. In the case of AE, they were at least somewhat developed by his Arizona hs, or should have been. The point being we would take what ever high level transferrs we can get also. We took Chittum, too.Cuba doesn't wrestle folkstyle. The coaches definitely put a ton of time into both of those guys to get them elevated to this style of wrestling. We’re talking apples to oranges here.We do have a couple guys “developed” in Cuba. And 184 “developed” at Clarion
Sure we will, but Michigan is probably going to have 5/10 starters as first year transfers for the second year in a row.Respectfully, the level of folkstyle skills by those two could be developed at any other college program and many high school programs. Book it. Hamiti will be 174 and will be real tough there.I’m not worried about OSU getting these transfers. We will still beat them 133-157 also 197 and HWT and maybe 174 depending on what weight Hamiti goes.
Oranges? Where do the brands come in?We’re talking apples to oranges here.
Yes. Pretty sure them getting Fish cements Hamiti at 174.Book it. Hamiti will be 174 and will be real tough there.
Ohio State definitely developed Echemendia into being a 3rd string wrestler. Our staff definitely didn’t develop him at all into being an All American this year. All the credit to Arizona high school coaches and Tom Ryan for his season.
