Out rebounded by 16 and had 13 less free throw attempts yet somehow win without our star PG. impressive.

Obviously all because of the TO differential which lead to us taking 16 more shots.

They got like 6 rebounds on the last few plays hurling stuff at the backboard too.

The only points off the bench in the 2nd half were Hason's put-back dunk.

He had more assists (4) than either rebounds or points.

Loved how the officials had a tough time finding any TCU fouls in the second half, but when Ward has the late ally oop they knew that Keshon had to be fouled on the pass. Fortunate we got the call.:jimlad:

Need to learn how to milk the clock better and close out games, but at least it didn't cost us this time.
It’s unfortunately a bit of a trend in the TJ era. Many things can be true at once.

GREAT WIN.
The WIN is all that matters.
Great effort, great fight today. So proud!
TJ’s teams almost always see big leads dwindle in conference. It is OK to call this out. Really hope they adjust some things to focus on taking care of the ball and playing with less nerves and more confidence down the stretch. And yes I/we know - all games are tough in this conference, and winning on the road is very, very hard. Doesn’t make it ‘acceptable’ to struggle to close out games where we have huge leads.
The refs sucked - and them sucking really hurt us and benefited the home team.

RJones and Ward both with 4 fouls. I thought TJ did a pretty good job managing that, but it also affected their aggressiveness and probably resulted in a few TCU rebounds.

Along with Gilbert and CJones, Watson played great.

The team kept responding to TCU runs when they could've easily collapsed. Hung on at the end for a HUGE road win!

It was horrifically bad and obvious.

The relatively well officiated loss at OU was more enjoyable for me to watch. Obviously prefer the win but if every game was as poorly officiated as second half nobody would play or watch.

We got one of those “their best player is out” wins that usually goes against us.

I didn’t expect a win, but I did expect C Jones to step up and play well. Hopefully this is a springboard for him for the rest of the season.

That said, please be ready to go Wednesday, Tamin.

Both of them had one that was total bs and another iffy. It was definitely manufactured more than a fault of the players. No way TJ goes over film with them and criticizes Rob’s 3rd foul that was nothing.
