Our gritty guards are going to win us a lot of games. Lipsey and Gilbert are explosive and strong with their finishes. Curtis Jones is one of our best defenders. Really like our guards….. that’s what you want in March.

The young guys will continue to grow. This game was good for them and they just need some more under their belt and they will take that next step.

This is gonna be a fun year

First road game that was against competition. A good team doesn’t fight back and win this. I doubt we will see many 13% shooting at the 1:00 mark in the first half. Lipsey put it to 22%. That was all nerves and a lot of missed bunnies.

Lipsey has been filthy this season thus far. His outside shooting and lack of strength last year made me doubt him. But he’s clearly put in the work because he is stronger and can hit the deep ball this year.

What a perfect test. A team with lots of length, fighting through bad shooting and a comeback needed. Feel like the team adjusted well. Awesome to have a guy like Gilbert to pair with Tamin to just put so much pressure on the defense.

All those guys saying tj doesn't make good halftime adjustments should eat it now. Great game okan to get the guards playing downhill.

I said it way at the beginning of the thread in the first half. We played tomato cans to start the season and this game was going to be a step up no matter what. Regardless of how it turned out this team is talented and will just get better.

But really awesome to not play your best and still fight back for a win your first time away from home. That is the sign of a good team.
