Milan has been our worst player today. He’s having a horrible night.
It's not even close.
Per usual Maddog takes issue with a post, simple because it's mine, without even addressing the statement and its validity. I didn't say Milan is a terrible player, nor did I say it will continue past tonight. This night however he is beyond ineffective, which isn't a huge surprise (though somewhat disappointing). But if he can't get open, and really isn't doing much to even get open, and is forcing many of the shots he is taking, he has no purpose being on the floor. He's slow on his rotations and not being quick enough on the other end while also being a below average rebounder for his height.
Given the above there was no reason for Watson NOT to be out there. He's one of our best defenders, at least shoring uo that end of the floor, and a much better rebounder. It makes perfect sense to at LEAST see what he does on the floor. Maybe he stinks too....I don't know, but I am pretty sure the results would be better.
Milan was terrible. Not tbe end of the world but he shouldn't be playing big minutes if that's the best he can do tonight.
