Might be the case. I assume buildings will go up as soon as all infrastructure is in. But I foresee buildings only going up as spots are purchased. I may be wrong, but I doubt any building will be a spec building.
I agree with this. If you are going to occupy one of the buildings, you will want it built to your needs.

Driving by rapidly, I saw an asphalt ramp sorta out in the middle. A temporary transition from new high level areas to lower un-raised lots? This saves not dealing with tunnels this year.

Ames must have gotten plenty of rain as the heavy equipment was not running. This was also true for work on I-35 between Ames and Ankeny. (Monday Aug 8 23)

Would a drone operator please do a fly over of CyTown, thanks to whomever.

Not sure anyone has mentioned, but “D1” has numbers on parking spaces and cars are parked there. The bump out of road adjacent to “D” for buses is being used now and bus terminal building has not been demoed yet.

Seems to me that is a good reason to stick around and drink some more beers until the traffic fades a bit.
That is what our tailgate does regardless of what time the game gets over. We tailgate before and after. But there are a lot of people with families that don't want to stay any longer and it is just adding another choke point.

I'm gonna try that this year... especially the 11:00 am games ( I hope we get none of those)

When are we getting that Huge Super Badass PressBox?

Actually, in the world of facilities, what is really needed is a major donor/donorship group to approach the athletic department. It would seem to me that folks with big money are not pushing for an expanded press tower because they (and the AD) don't want it and/or there are more pressing issues than an aesthetically pleasing addition to the west side of the stadium. CyTown is meant to produce ongoing revenue which sustains the department. A new set of suites/tower certainly would look good, but it simply does not seem workable at this time.

Exactly. The ROI for a project like this would be so incredibly small. The complexities of that project would be huge and would not be able to be done in an offseason. Can you imagine the stadium cluster if the west concourse was not available?
