That…doesn’t make sense to me, Pierce isn’t a PG. Unless they weren’t recruiting Asuma as a PG?

Now, if you said that they backed off on him after Tamin established himself at PG (and knowing that Jeremiah Williams will likely have two more years) as a frosh, that would make sense to me.

Makes a ‘25 PG all that more crucial, I guess.
Pierce is a PG

YOU tell Pierce he isn't a PG. I will stand back and watch.

Stinson is the ‘25 PG move

Pierce and the staff view him as a PG. What doesn’t make sense about that?

I hope we get Curtis and Zay Robinson from Valley they would make an awesome tandem!

ISU had offered, but pretty sure we took Indrusaitis as a priority

Really nice pickup for Fred tho

Yup. And given how much they were watching Pewaukee, I'll trust their judgement. I really like Pierce and Nojus.

Regardless, though, maybe Fred is picking up some momentum? Can't say I'm rooting against him at this point and Janowski is a solid player for sure who seems like a good fit with Fred.

Wild ass guess: better fit offensively/defensively in Fred's system than ours.

Kinda feels that way? My gut says Nojus and Pierce might have higher long term ceilings with their positional size and length, but Janowski can light it up for sure.

Nojus is going to be an absolute stud.

He is just such a smooth athlete and his shot is pure. I wouldn't be shocked if he rose in the rankings this summer at all. He's got prototypical size and length and at least from what I can tell, no real glaring weaknesses?

I also love guys that have played in international competition, too. Iirc he was awesome there.

Agree..

Nick could come in day 1 and provide more shooting. Nojus' upside looks a bit higher on both ends of the floor

Does anyone really know if we chose Pierce above him, or possibly sensed he was leaning NU all the way so didn't want to back off others, or that he didn't really want to necessarily follow a teammate to the same college, among other possible reasons? Just wondering if the above comments were speculation or factual, that's all. Cuz I don't sense he's the same position or player type as Industraitus or Pierce actually.
