I stopped at the local Mediacom office in Ames. They said they have no way of offering the Longhorn Network.
Just switched to channel 677, and I have the Longhorn Network. Maybe I called the sports package the wrong thing, but the LHN is available on DirecTV.That is no longer true, Direct dropped the LHN last year, and you have to pay for it apart from the cost of the sports package. I have had the sports package for years, and last season it would not allow me to watch the game.
Asking for a friend. Is it illegal to utilize a 3rd party stream or is it only illegal to be the host of that stream?
Texas can’t leave this conference soon enough.
And the hornsdown wonder why we don't like them? They can't leave fast enough. Not wishing them any success in the SEC. They can take their money and run, as if they needed any more of it.It does until those douchebags leave.
I did before I posted that. I ass u me nothing. You might want to actually go on there and try to watch something, I just went and tried to watch the game on the Longhorn net going on live right now...Softball. Shows I have it etc. But as soon as I click on it to watch it, it comes up...NOT PART OF TV PACKAGE
So anyone thinking they have it, might want to test it.
Serious question, has anyone emailed Pollard?
Go to your local gamewatch. If there isn’t one, host an unofficial one and invite your friends on Facebook. How do we keep getting screwed and end up on LHN?
How can those of us that don’t have that network still watch the game?
Pretty sure as long as you aren't recording, it's only illegal to host.Asking for a friend. Is it illegal to utilize a 3rd party stream or is it only illegal to be the host of that stream?
I can’t imagine there are any legal ramifications for accessing an illegal stream. Like you say, the person providing the stream is the one violating various laws and copyrights, not the viewer, necessarily.Pretty sure as long as you aren't recording, it's only illegal to host.
You canNOT watch the game anywhere else...I WILL BE SO DAMMED GLAD WHEN TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA LEAVE THE BIG 12!!How do we keep getting screwed and end up on LHN?
How can those of us that don’t have that network still watch the game?
I AGREE...CoKand...I will be listening to J & E also! The one time I paid for the Longhorn Network, Brock Purdy's freshman year for that football game, was one of the worst sports broadcasts I've ever seen. Actually and honestly considering not watching and just catching the radio feed
I just tried it, like I said before I have the Sports Pack, it came up with how to order the channel page.Just switched to channel 677, and I have the Longhorn Network. Maybe I called the sports package the wrong thing, but the LHN is available on DirecTV.
Interesting! Do you get SEC Network, ACC Network and B1G Network?I just tried it, like I said before I have the Sports Pack, it came up with how to order the channel page.
I still get the SEC and B10 networks, have not tried the ACC Network, but a lot of their games are on the other sports pack channels. Tried again and the LHN does not come up, says I can order it.Interesting! Do you get SEC Network, ACC Network and B1G Network?
That's just odd! I've had DirecTV since 2019. Do not know why I get it, and you do not. Maybe LHN was granfathered in or something like that? Bummer that you do not get it with your package (in order to see the ISU game).I still get the SEC and B10 networks, have not tried the ACC Network, but a lot of their games are on the other sports pack channels. Tried again and the LHN does not come up, says I can order it.
