Might have gotten a d fortunate call....

My god that is an awful call when Sundvold even admits it.

Once again, not the reason we are losing, but there was NONE ikn the NBA that could come back from 17 down with this kind of calling in the last 17 minutes.

Did I say that? Do you have evidence that Ward can be effective at the 5?

I posted enough stats for you in the previous post that shows that he's more productive than Jones. I'm not joking but Jones is one of the worst power conference bigs I've seen in years in any conference who actually plays. His hands are not good at all and constantly gets the ball picked out of his pocket. This game was not the first time he's dribbled a ball off his foot when he's right next to the basket. He consistently misses easy layups, by a lot too. If Ward can literally not get the ball stripped when inside all the time, it is an improvement over Jones. One of the things that you have to do as any ball player in any sport is play mistake free (or close to it) - and no offense to Jones, but he doesn't even come close.

Again, I like the kid but he is a mid major backup center.

Man we need Jazz and Grill back so badly.

Now Jaz is someone I can see being effective at the 5. He did a bit vs. UNC iirc and was pretty good.

Hopefully Grill is just out today and can go Monday.

And that's all fine! We knew that when we signed him. But it is weird how attached the coaches are to him. They apparently had to convince him to come back with that 'Big Rob Energy' ********. They went to real effort to get him back.

Are those stats at the 5? Do you think the staff hasn't tried it out?
