That was a high level basketball game. Honestly I think it is KSU, TCU and Iowa State playing the best right. But the Top 6 of the Big 12 are completely capable of an Elite 8 run or beyond. Kansas City for the Big 12 Tournament is going to be next level.

I think our win @tcu and TCU’s @KU are actually biggest wins so far. This one only seems as big if you overvalue KSU’s AP ranking.

If we ended at 12-6 there isn’t a single person who wouldn’t have signed up for that.

Now we are 8 games in and tied for first so yes we need to be thinking we have a shot at winning this thing. Going to be tough, but we have to take care of business at home first and foremost. If we win out at home then we will have a shot.

There was a time not that long ago when everyone was wringing their hands over whether we could get 7 or 8 wins to get into the tournament.

I think it is big from the standpoint of reinforcing their belief in what they are doing. Down a starter and a half? Doesn't matter. Go win the game. K State may not be at the top when it is all said and done, but that will be a resume win for sure.

KState is good. That's a great win. Nowell played fantastic down the stretch. Great game.

Nowell is a baller, no doubt. But Cyclones made Johnson a non-factor in the game which was huge.
