TJ is a DAWG. Love the combo of good high school recruits and transfer guys he is combining. The video of this recruit is really impressive. Seems like an at will scorer, inside and outside game.TJ is phenomenal. Amazing first piece to the 2024 class!
Looks like a lineup Fran would be jealous of.Lipsey
Nick J
Nojus
Momcilovic
Rock
That would be one heck of a core to fill in around for 2024 and beyond. Need some athletes and age now
Except talented, and not nearly as ugly as Fran typically strives forLooks like a lineup Fran would be jealous of.
You’re not wrong except that non of those guys are related to one another or to a coach and only one of them grew up a fan of the program lol.Looks like a lineup Fran would be jealous of.
speak of the devil
Well… except for LipseyYou’re not wrong except that non of those guys are related to one another or to a coach and only one of them grew up a fan of the program lol.
Love the recruiting success TJ and this staff keeps having! This kid sounds like a great fit.
A little concerning how quickly some move on from previous classes (Watson, E.King, Hamilton) to the next. I hope these 3 have established themselves and will be hard to supplant.
Can anyone confirm if he is eligible for NIL? Or is he in the same boat as Jaz?
Good comparison. I’d be okay with that. After Virginia won a national championship a handful of years back I remember being impressed with the roster Tony Bennett put together and the defensive minded effort his team played with. The vast majority of their impact players were upperclassmen and former 35-100 type recruits in the country. I think they may have had one blue chip recruit in there as well. Sounds eerily similar to what TJ is putting together
We will have really good shooting in 2024 with him and Momcilovic, which is great since our outside shooting is atrocious right now.TJ is a DAWG. Wasn't Tony Bennet originally from Wisconsin, same as TJ??After Virginia won a national championship a handful of years back I remember being impressed with the roster Tony Bennett put together and the defensive minded effort his team played with. According to some mouthbreather on hawkeyeinsider, we’re getting all these recruits because Denny Albaugh is our bagman.
Did I misread something or dream this up, but wasn't Watson supposed to be a good 3-pt shooter in high school?? Hopefully he takes a big leap forward from his freshmen to his sophomore year to get more playing time.We will have really good shooting in 2024 with him and Momcilovic, which is great since our outside shooting is atrocious right now.
Not necessarily. I mean we do lose Holmes, Kalschuer, Grill, Kunc, for outside shootingUs getting this commitment I assume we quit recruiting someone else. So which recruit are we no longer going after?
