Why? Guys that make the NFL as the 4th or 5th receiver on the team should just stop playing in the regular season now because their teams suck?
No he shouldn’t. Unless he has quit on the team.
Easy for you to say, if X gets injured you don’t lose anything out of the deal.
Right - but if the game is prime time and he goes for 100 and 2 tuds that can move him up around. I feel he’s a 4th rounder right now

Love the dude and he’s been everything for us, but right now he’s not in any Top 20 WRs in the draft list. Some have him around 25th WR so he’s likely 6th or 7th round if in the draft at all.
If I'm leaving for the draft, and my team sucks, I probably don't play in the final game. No chance at a bowl. Your coach punted with one time out and a couple of minutes left in the game down less than a touchdown last night. What's the point?
NFL is filled with guys making lots of money who nobody had getting drafted.
We still have a shot at a bowl, and neither guys are first or second round picks.
If he was Breece Hall, then I'd sit. But his draft stock probably doesn't warrant it, honestly.
If the offense breaks tendencies and runs wide, Hutchinson can help with blocking. That might be valuable film for any professional aspirations.
