Its weird because when he was thick, he was pretty decent at running. Look back at the K-State game in 2020.
Any time we score inside the 10, it’s not because of Manning’s play calling
Noel wasn't even blocking for him out in front of him. He probably figured there was no way he'd be running it.

Yes, offensive statistics have been unbelievable the last 5 years... But this is always what happens when it matters most - Manning starts thinking he's smarter than he really is.
Proud of the fight and effort but there is a lot to clean up. Ball security, pass rush and we need Remsburg to actually be fit and ready to play.
First TE target was on the late 4Q FG drive. Might have started with that much earlier to keep some balance in the passing game.

That's 24-17 ISU lead if you take away the 14 points of drives that were kept alive by nonsensical calls where all ISU did was tackle like any normal tackle.
Yeah sucks it'll be a loss and the team didn't play as well second half, but they can bounce back and win a lot of games. They're going to be allowed to tackle in the first half of most games I hope.

Hate to break it to you but when the WR doesn’t know the play and let’s an All-conference caliber LB go untouched the LB is going to win that battle against the QB nearly every time. It’s gotta be a chip or at least a bump. There.
I also remember hearing someone talk about how it should be a blind call. The replay official is in a room somewhere, not allowed to watch the game. They don’t know the call, their only job is to say what they see, once they are showed the replay.
Isn’t it weird that if you don’t execute properly that a play no matter the call won’t work.

Great onside technique there I must admit. They had a chance but coverage just didn’t get there
