Its a holliday, why do I have to work

Wandering around the office today I could not help but noticing that everyone of importance (4 of 5 executives) took the day off. It is 60 degrees outside and sunny. I would much rather be doing almost anything than work.

So in protest, what are you doing today instead of working like you are supposed to.

I must say, this game is appealing. I do like monkeys throwing darts.

My wife asked if I had the day off today, it hadn't even crossed my mind that people wouldn't be working today.

Government holiday. Some DC folks have tomorrow off, as well (officially for Inauguration Day, unofficially because getting to a job in the DC area tomorrow will be next to impossible)

I have it off!!!! But, I have to makeup class on Thursday night.

Make that official... I'm 1 county away from having the day off and a 5 day weekend... :sad:

They've closed all the bridges from Virginia to DC for tomorrow, numerous other restrictions / barriers on streets / super crowded Metros / enough people to keep an eye / crowds in general / security for the President (i.e. probably some building closures)

My employer has today off as well (50,000 worldwide employees). We get Presidents Day off as well:smile:
