I am celiac and the first food that popped into me head after getting the diagnosis was crispy meat burrito Taco Time.
Black Market Pizza, I loved their sandwich inspired pizzas. One of the best cheeseburger pizzas I've had.
The Amalgamated Spirit and Provision Company, known to us as “The Amalgamated”, was the go-to parent restaurant in the early to mid 1980’s. It was out by itself on S. 16th St.
I had totally forgotten about The Amalgamated. Good show, old man.
I gotta throw in the old Garden Cafe downtown. They had great food, and fantastic pastries, especially the giant blueberry muffins. I am surprised it has not been mentioned yet.

Kings had great burgers and fries. I loved ordering by booth phone at least that is what I remember.
Dugan's Deli and Boyd's Dairy. Places I miss the most.
Along the same lines of LJS but what about the KFC lunch buffet?!?! We used to absolutely WRECK that place.
i'd like to throw out the old C-Stores from circa early 2000s. The one in MWL was a junk food haven and had everything I wanted. They also made crappy frozen pizzas for lazy people.
Yep. I remember the Tuesday night was always strawberry daiquiri night at the old Minsky's. My girlfriend (who is now my wife of MANY years) and I were poor, but that was always our big night out.
I feel like Fighting Burrito by CHC was good, then it moved to old Welch DQ, renamed as Flying Burrito, and wasn't good.
