I'm really interested in upgrading my current earphones to some better sounding ones. I would consider spending up to $150 for some good sounding ones. Does anybody have any recommendations or experience in this area?:mask:

In-ear earphones. Right now I have a set of Shure E2C that are a couple of years old. I'm sure there is a better sounding pair out there.

I have shure as well and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at quality in-ear earphones.

Man....it would be really easy to drop some money on a high-end pair. If you look on Ebay, you can save money and you catch yourself willing to spend more. I'd love to get the Shure SE530....but would the extra money be worth it?

What about getting one of those that are custom fit for your ear? ilounge.com has a lot of good reviews on earbuds.

Depending on how much you decide you want to spend I would get the Shure SE210, SE310, or SE530. My guess would be that you wouldn't be able to notice much difference at all between the 310 and 530.

And some others I don't know probably...not saying Bose is terrible, just not the best. The Tri-Ports are pretty decent but the build quality leaves a little to be desired.

From the reviews I've been reading, the triports let in a lot of outside noise. I really like the isolation of the "ear canal" type of earphones.
