Next year might rival our two win year under Prohm. Our starting 5 next year will probably be Hunter, Grill, Walker, King, and Jones. That is a below average mid-major team. Drake will be better.

We lose IB, Gabe, George, and Jaz. TJ will run off Enaruna and Jackson.

The 4 players he has run off (including Hinson and Foster) would be better.

If all those guys are gone, that’s a lot of open scholarships. You think TJ with a full cycle can’t get 2-3 starter quality guys in the portal?

We can win in the tournament. With this team it all depends on who we draw. Most of our losses have been against teams with excellent defense. Teams like Iowa we win because we can score on them.

Oh we can win alright. I think we can beat anyone in the country, but we seem to be a team that can get smoked by Wartburg.

teams that struggle shooting don't make good tournament teams. I am just picturing us drawing the 8/9 seed and playing first thing on thursday and going like 1-23 from 3,

Exactly TJ is not stupid and the biggest attraction in hiring him was recruiting. Portal will be huge this off-season. Let’s hope we can strike some gold like IB.

I would say that there's a huge difference between Kalscheur and Brockington and hope they would be a lot closer to the Brockington end of the spectrum.

Well 1) He didn't really run off Foster, Foster was toxic. 2) Enaruna may very well come back

Also, we don't know what we have yet with the sit out guy from Western KY

King I think is a better prospect than grill, a top 5 guy in the state of Mn is nothing to sneeze at.

Agree. It all depends on the draw. Hope Iowa State gets to face a smaller guard-oriented team that just tries to outscore you. Longer and more athletic teams that are physical and can defend give them fits.

This one pissed me off. If not for Iowa State being one of the worst teams in cbb at transition offense, that random stoppage in action could have been very unnecessarily disruptive. I couldn't believe they called it in general, but how it was called was borderline appalling.
