For those of you asking how we won that game….Brockington. How many huge shots did he knock down to get to OT? And before anyone bags on Hunter, the first minute of OT was all him with the and 1 and monster dunk.

Guys. I watched freshman Melvin Ejim. He's going to be fine.
Some big mistakes, but he also hit some big shots in OT.
Glad after his turnovers to see Brockington and Grill go right to him and keep his head up.

- They worked a few new wrinkles in on offense, I like it.
- TJ is still frequently subbing people out right after they make a notable play. I don’t like it. Just weird. Not Scott Drew timeout weird, but regular weird.
- Feel bad for Hunter on those turnovers at the end of regulation and in OT. Those were Monte moments ready for him, and he was making the right moves, just lost some control. But you could see in his eyes how hard he was on himself. That toughness will take him far.
- Brockington, you’re beautiful.
- Mizzou and The Goaltenders coming up at home. F*ck yes. Punch ‘em in the mouth and get a mini-streak going here.
- Props to Tre. He left a few guys open earlier, but was clutch when it mattered most.
- The other Tre (on the bench) looks freaking jacked.

Serious question. Where does IB rank in terms of hitting clutch shots when we need them? To quote Bill Raftery, the guy has onions.
This definitely puts the tourney back in play. You can’t lose to TCU in Hilton and not make up for it on the road. Even if our goal is only 7-11, that means we no longer even have to win out in Hilton. We certainly CAN do that, but if we drop 1 and just win out at home, we’re going dancing.
Was refreshing to see Conditt on the floor in OT, plus he had a stat-stuffing game: 10 pts on 4-4 shooting, 8 boards 4 assists and only 2 fouls. The move to start Jones to absorb some early fouls paid off. Post production like that night in and night out could really push the needle for this club.
Tyrese is so talented BUT still a freshman. He will learn, but if he just slows down a bit he will be so damn good. He rushes things at times which is why he has so many WTF turnovers. Just part of the game he has to learn through playing. Slow down.
I'm so happy for the team. They have played so hard all year, and represented ISU so well. Great win! Let's hope this gets them going. Now, let's fill Hilton (this team deserves it), get loud, and beat Mizzou!
