Purdy was flawless today.One of the best games I’ve seen from an ISU QB. OSU played great defense, every play required impressive execution.

Two in a row, right? Really looks like a 4-year starter.

I cannot believe people complaining about the play calling today. Their front seven plus some at times was forcing us to pass. Check out the box score. Maybe wrong but six different receivers caught balls. That is a well coached defense that decided that Kolar and Hall was not going to beat them by themselves. Until you have called games, you have no idea of how hard it is. You can call a great play and the defense does something that puts them in a great position. Have you ever qatched our defense in the second half!!!!!! Give it a rest and enjoy the win. That was an amazingly well called game by our OC.

People have the right to complain about the 4th and inches, and all the goaline calls. You line up under center and impose your will on people. You don't have inches to go and hand the ball off 5 yards behind the LOS, its pure stupidity.

Iowa State is very fortunate X caught that TD to bail out the horrible calls the 2 previous plays.

Rest of the gameplan was fine.

It’s just what they do. Totally ignoring that OSU has the top defense in the conference and one of the best in college football.

Purdy was fantastic against a tough Defense. This was the toughest game left IMO. Gundy has had our #. Amazing win. Lots left to play for.

There is something we have going on, it appears the staff wants us to be a power running team so badly that we will just bang that zone read or direct hand off up the middle over and over even when it doesn't work.

Seems like at halftime there was something of an adjustment, realizing that we need to spread the field more, and it worked. That crossing route catch by Milton feels like it's been missing all season.

Wish the adjustment could come sooner, but we won, so can't complain too much!

Exactly. Still room for improvement. We have to be dynamic in our play calling. We likely will always need that kind of edge rather than trying to line up head to head with some of the better teams.

Give a lot of credit to Okie State. They are for real. But I wish we could have played a little more free in the first half like we did in the 2nd half when we had to come back.

I think OSU actually picked up that fourth down, but they did it illegally and didn't get flagged.

NCAA Rule: "The ball carrier shall not grasp a teammate; and no other teammate shall grasp, pull, or lift the ball carrier to assist in forward progress. (A.R. 9-3-2-I)"

So there is justice there.

Agreed. The short yardage is frustrating, but I thought our passing game showed more life. After watching Brock run for his life the last two years against those guys, I thought Manning did enough to protect Purdy and find some quick hitters to slow them down and get manageable down and distance. We leaned more on RPO today, and it worked. Need more of that going forward.

AND OSU was lucky their receivers made two very good catches in the endzone or we win by 10+. It's called players making plays, good ones do that.

I've been pretty down on Purdy this year. But he's been a ******* ROCK the past few games, completely unflappable. Strong leader and very happy he chose us.

Also, special teams. After the first punt, they were SOLID today. Great game in all three phases, and needed all of them to beat a really good Oklahoma State team.

I'd love to see an explanation! In this case it stirred the crowd, team up so much, it worked to our advantage! But Hoy Cow!! Weak flag is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never seen such a bad and potential game changing call. In a while anyway. We overcame it which says a lot.
