I know paint balling is a little played out but I went for my cousins Bachelor party about 10 years ago.
So much fun. Took a party bus to the course, then paintballing all afternoon and finished with a bon fire. Was cheap overall too.
I know it wasn’t on your lis

I was actually just looking at paintball parks right before I read this. There looks to be a few good places so this might be a good idea!

Son was a groomsman in a superspeader wedding where he got his Covid and subsequent chronic fatigue. They played golf outside and then went to Top Golf. He thinks he got his Covid at the wedding though.

He has been in three different weddings where they went to Top Golf the night before. His friends obviously not up to CF party standards.

Manifesto closed when The Rieger did. The thought is a permanent closing.

Distilleries in the downtown/Crossroads area are all pretty good. Tom's Town is good, but on the pricier side. Lifted Spirts is fantastic for all around drinks (City Barrel is a brewery with excellent food by Lifted Spirits, think Barn Town style). Mean Mule is an Agave distillery and they make fantastic tequila. Food hall right in the area called Parlor that is fantastic and a great bar and party atmosphere.

SoT is one of my favorite nice cocktail bars in Crossroads. Depending on group size and COVID this may be tougher to get into.

Power and Light is probably your go-to for a bachelor party as you'll be able to wander a bit more. Westport is fine, but wouldn't be walking distance if you stay downtown and generally has a few shootings each summer as it gets warmer.

During the day I would recommend Top Golf, T-Shotz (similar to Top Golf and just opened), axe throwing (Blade and Timber), No Other Pub (bowling, golf bays, drinking games, shuffleboard, but is currently closed for COVID).

Some good steak places if that is your jam. Also got to hit up BBQ. Joe's is one of my personal favorites. Slaps is right up there also that few out of KC people talk about as it is in KCK. Q39 is good and Jack Stack is fine, but are more of a formal dining setting.

I live in downtown KC now. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
If it opens up before we go, do you think No Other Pub would be a decent place to hang out and watch a Royals game(game tickets are sold out) or are there better places for game watching. My only thought was if some of the guys aren't interested in the game there would be other things to do while we're there.

Absolutely, plenty to do there in regards to games to stay busy (and the rest of P&L to entertain someone who doesn't want to be there).

Would also recommend Up Down - albeit i have not been there in over a year, so not sure how its been post covid.

I wouldn't fret too much on Royals game tickets being sold out - i think some uncertainty in terms of how tickets going to work yet - would look closer to the date / should certainly be some available somewhere.

Thank you! The tickets have been interesting with only 10,000 fans allowed, which I'm assuming season tickets will account for a good chunk of. I looked the day after that announcement and saw only 4 tickets available, but I'm keeping a close eye on them!

Is No other Pub the place above the stage that would be put out foe the big 12 tourney? That place is legit.

If you’re big into the drinking games and partying, starting at UpDown, TopGolf, P&L would be the best scenario.

Mean Mule and Lifted Spirits are nice little distilleries in the Crossroads area. Very walkable to some breweries if you are looking for something to drinks during the day. The West Bottoms is an under-appreciated area to party at night. the Campground has great drinks, Lucky Boys is an awesome dive bar, and end at The Ship.

No Other Pub is a great place to watch just about every game as they have a bunch of TVs. It's a great place to just hang out, have beers, and play games for all interests.

Chicken and Pickle would be another good spot to hang out, but they have less TVs and you would need to drive as it is in North KC. It is similar to Smash Park in Des Moines.

During the day you could brewery hop around all the Crossroads (area right south of Power and Light) breweries. About 6-7 all within a few blocks of each other, and also a couple distillery's. Casual Animal, Torn Label, and City Barrell are all great. Always can try the Boulevard beer hall as well.

Q39 is one of my better BBQ experiences. Excellent food.
Yeah, someone mentioned that it was more on the expensive side. I disagree. Unless their prices have changed, it was pretty decent. It's not hickory park prices, but it's not crazy at all. 10-20 dollars for an entree if I recall correctly. That's pretty reasonable, and quite a value considering how good the food is.
