Going to need an effort like last week. Get Breece going and control game. They are likely to stack the line so hit them with tight ends early and then Breece em when they are on their heels.
I’m still nervous for this game and I’m trying to be cautious on expectations but I just can’t help but think we’ve got this one. I think this is a solid win. Score wise I think it’s still tight (ones possession) but we will be solidly in control.
Hope the refs are on the level. A little worried about that based on the past playing Texas. Just lost $50 betting Purdue +2.5 so I am once again convinced some games are fixed. Lol
Texas has a good run defense and it seems likely that they'll stack the box to stop Breece to challenge Brock to try to beat them. With what might be less-than-ideal weather for throwing the ball long, I'm wondering if the short and medium passing game might be the focus on offense.
We’re not a team who depends on big plays from receivers breaking open down field; crappy weather actually plays right into our game which is running and 5-8 yard routes.
Texas is only going to have one kickoff so he better make due. ( I wish ).

I see the surface down there is FieldTurf, so that should be better for breece than grass when wet.
Never been as happy to work from home as I am today.
Yup; last couple games their D-line has stuffed the run. I'd like to see Purdy on the run-pass option to keep them guessing.
