Is Breece Hall the best player in the B12?

Yes... I think so.

Of course Hubbard at OSU has been good, but not as good as Hall. Deuce Vaughn at KSU has really been a boost for them this season, but doesn't come close to the stats Hall has put up.

No QBs seem to really be standing out. Purdy has been solid, but not to Hall's level in terms of their effect on the W's and L's IMO. Rattler will be a stud IMO, but hasn't been good enough this season obviously.

He looks more like David Montgomery every week.

Gets hit in the backfield... still gets five.

Actually gets decent blocking... bye-bye.

There's really a lack of star RBs in the conference this season. Same with the WRs outside of maybe Tylan Wallace. I would probably say Ellinger has been the best QB, but he's 1-2. Are there any marque defensive players in the conference?

Hall has to be #1 for Big 12 Offensive Player of the year right now.

I’m a huge David Montgomery fan....however Hall’s ceiling is much higher than David’s just off natural athletic ability.

I think DM's ability to break tackles is still slightly better than Hall's.... but Hall has much better breakaway speed. When DM got good blocking he usually didn't go all the way, but was chased down from behind.... but Hall is gone.

But no doubt that DM is a beast at breaking tackles and getting extra yards and staying on his feet.

Sam Ehlinger is UTs entire offense so he should be in the conversation...

I've always thought Ehlinger was way overrated. Purdy is better. So is Thompson from KSU when healthy IMO. And I think Rattler is better than Ehlinger too. Maybe Duggan too.

Hall is up there. Probably tops at this point, though I think the sample size is still small. If you watch the actual plays and don't just look at stats, then I think that strengthens his case.

Chuba has gone against Tulsa, WVU and KU.

I'll go with Breece.

And Brock, 1A and 1B.

In my opinion "looks" nothing like David. Just as effective, even more so, but doing it in an entirely different way. Breece's best trait is the way he sets defenders up for his blockers. David was a violent runner who could do things on his own, but was bad at following his blockers. He was a HS quarterback new to the position so understandable and we didn't have very good blocking so that style was appropriate at the time. Haven't watched him in the NFL much, but I'm guessing he's improved greatly at reading blocks and defenses. Breece also has the breakaway speed David always lacked. Both great, but different.

Skill position wise he might be but that Texas offensive lineman, can’t remember his name, is the best player in the big 12
