I was in a hurry, needed to pay attention to Wendy's Town Hall meeting this morning.I love the word, but wouldn't dare use it for fear they might institutionalize me.
BTW, if you're going to "at" me, you have to use the entire stupid name!![]()

Are there pics of LilMissWx dancing?![]()
I decided that subscribing to "A.Word.A.Day" was not fulfilling my word-nerd brain, so be prepared for words from Word Genius. Like this one for today: You'll see why "Gadzooks" is worthy of sharing here. https://www.wordgenius.com/ @KC
Well that was a weekend.
MrsWx's cousin got married on Saturday. Our kids were the ring bearer and flower girl which was quite the experience. Being Benton county many Busch Lattes were enjoyed by the natives. This also lead to the best man breaking his ankle 12-14 hours before the wedding. LilMissWx absolutely LOVED dancing. MrsWx's effort to get me to move to a small town took a hit as nearly every single one of them spent the entire evening smoking and drinking.
I was thinking either Archie or Bazooka JoeI am pretty sure the last time I saw gadzooks used was likely in a comic book or newspaper cartoon 50 years ago.
Please don't lump us from smaller towns in the north with those from the south. (Although i would not recommend the town I live in due to the inbreeders, the rest of the towns aren't that way) We even make fun of them down there.
What did she have to say? You can dm if you want.I was in a hurry, needed to pay attention to Wendy's Town Hall meeting this morning.
I am just glad I finally got her to admit that she doesn't like that culture either.
I have a shitzu-poodle (shitpoo) you can have for a buck.
Oh she's mad at them too. It's just insane. It was a get together for her sister's birthday and we opted out because we knew those in contact with a COVID case would be there. And now we're see as the black sheep for skipping her sister's birthday to protect ourselves. It's truly insane.I was going to comment that the inlaws bear some of that burden. We told our kids no (except for outside and distanced, and they haven't even been exposed. If your inlaws don't protect themselves, your wife's anger should be directed at them as well, IMO.
For those didn't grow up around it, it is a different experience. The wedding I was at originally had a combine for a backdrop but was moved right before the wedding. Several family pictures were taken with it though.
I joked with MrsWx that I felt that we should pay for the DJ since we were nearly the only ones in there.
No. But that’s just amazing. After you said that I had the biggest legit pit form in my stomach realizing how bad I missed on that one. Please tell me you named him Deuce

Double agreeThat exact breed and name is on my list of dogs. The reactions would be absolutely priceless.
She didn't talk much actually. DId announce new Thielen Student Health Center testing location at Johnny's in Hilton. Had Alex Ramirez from Vet Med describe and explain what's being done testing-wise, what's happening and why. In a nutshell AND with my paraphrasing, testing and tracing show transmission isn't happening in classroom-type settings, so no reason to cancel in-person learning. Other speakers, too, including Rodger Main from Vet Med - had to take a break then, so missed his part; and a few usual others. What did she have to say? You can dm if you want.![]()

Pretty sure the recording will be up soon. I'll share the link when I know it.
