I think we could win even in the Central. Not road games of course, but we would be competitive in all our home games.

I don't care who your offensive coordinator is, if you can't sustain blocks or win the battle in the trenches you aren't going anywhere. We can't even get 6 inch surges out of our OL and no pressure out of our DL. Fix that and you will swear these coordinators are great.

whats the point of firing the staff. i hate the dumbasses that say that, then we will be back in the seat we were two years ago and have to start again so then upon hiring a new coach we will have to wait another 2 or 3 years before he gets established. if this continues next year or the year after on his fourth season then firing might be a concern, but for now he needs time.

Iowa State football is built around optimism that never arrives. The best thing you can do is stop buying season tickets and become a fan of a perennial national power, because even when they have down years, they kick the **** out of Iowa State.

Yes mr Monty...I've got a pregnant idea...Lets give Gene Chizik another 2 years and see where the program is at...Then we can see if: no1, if there is light at the end of the football tunnel or is it an oncoming train getting ready to run us over...no2, NO self respecting AD and I think that Jamie is both an AD and self respecting would ever consider making a move until after year #4!!!


After we beat K-State aka Kansas State saturday afternoon I think that the fans on this board (ME INCLUDED) will then calm down a bit and start enjoying the offseason football...mens & womens B-Ball and of course our soon to be National Champs in Wrestling!!!
