How many fades will Campbell have in a ten year period? Probably more than Fran at this rate.

This is probably the only year you can say he "faded". His team got better at the season went on his first year, his second year they won a bowl game and last year they won 7 out of 8 going into the bowl game

One easy way to avoid a fade is to just play .500 basketball the whole season. Not sure you keep that up with the next several games on your schedule tho.

Brutal schedule. Crazy to think 30% of the Big 12 is better than the best team in the Big Ten!

This is pretty much the Campbell special. He is .500 in his career at ISU against non-Pioneer League schools and 1 game under .500 in the months of November and December at ISU against non-Pioneer League schools.

*Checks the last 9 games of the 2014-2015 Iowa basketball season when they won 7 of their last 9 games.*

So Fran has only faded 8 times instead of 9? I'm really confused why Iowa fans are pretending that the Fran fade isn't a thing

I wanna say Morehouse and Doc did a podcast and talked about it. They found it was nothing dissimilar to his overall Big10 record.

The whole fade stuff is overdone. I mean if I told you CMC is 7-8 in Big12 games in Nov. does that mean he has "faded" in Nov? I mean overall he is 18-18 in Big12 games, so it really isn't a fade if he has done in Nov. what he has done basically overall in the Big12.

KF on the other hand has been en fuago in Nov. lately. In the last 5 years KF is 14-7 in Big10 play in games played after Nov. This included the Big10 championship game loss.

Lol if you want to pretend teams haven't faded under Fran before be my guest. I'm with @iahawks on this one

I'm sure some of his teams have finished badly. I'm saying just because CMC has a below .500 record in Nov. doesn't mean it is a fade. .500 conference record means you are gonna play around .500 ball early, middle and late statistically.

I mean you really are trying hard here. It's not landing but the effort is there
