That explains it. I used to listen to the radio on my commute, and live streamed it on my work computer. Don't commute & don't work any more, so I rarely listen to the radio any more. :D

Former coworker and friend is trying to semi recruiting me for a position up in MSP. I have a hard time making a move just for money though. Especially one away from all of our family.

Good for your wife's career. There are like hundreds of hospitals and clinics here to work at and build a career. Just sayin'.

Made a pretty good dent in leaves today. As it is now I should just be able to mow and bag the yard to get the rest. I still have one tree that hasn't dropped yet. I assume it will soon and all at once.

Being a new parent is more stressful than I anticipated

I'll be alone with the boy all day tomorrow and I'm losing sleep over it.

So far fatherhood

Four months old now? You can do it! Stick him in the stroller and go for a walk outside. Project total calm and competence for your wife and freak out here.

I'm assuming drinking to take the edge off is frowned upon....

Me and the boy had a rough night this week. Gave mom a break and had her sleep in the guest room

Told her the next day that he'll be an only child.... Feels like I've aged 10 years in 4 months

A beer for the road, nah, gotta stay warm outside!

Two people yesterday asked me about a 2nd child when Wednesday night involved DH sleeping with him from 12-4 in the chair and then on the couch (safely, he's a toddler now don't @ me) and then he just wanted to be by me all night Thursday night and I'm sick and had ******* HAD it by 4am and I left him with DH and went to the couch. Then he cried for about 40 minutes before he fell back asleep.......and even with ear plugs I didn't fall asleep until about 5:30. So yesterday when those two questions happened and I'm sick, very short on sleep...........they're lucky I just laughed.

I've heard the 4 month sleep regression is pretty bad (think it's they transition to spending more time in the lighter sleep and can wake more easily??) but IDK because we always had ****** sleep so we luckily never noticed regressions :confused:o_O

The Nut or DH????

I thought about clarifying and then decided I'd see if someone took a swing at that!

The funny thing is normally when I've reached my limit, DH jumps in as the compassionate parent but he was done and after a failed transfer from rocking chair to crib, he left the room and went back to our room and shut the door.

child was pissed, that was for sure. Doing his mad cry (which is preferable to his broken heart sad cry) and going "behbehbebhebehbehbeh" which was kinda funny if it weren't 4am
