When Okie St beats KSU this week and we win, Okie St will be in and we will be just on the outside looking in. Since Okie St has more votes than us going into this week. If KSU wins and we win; we may get in, but that would go against the AP’s unwritten rule that the Big 12 can only have a maximum of 3 teams ranked at a time.

Until we're consistently solid for a Gary Patterson amount of time (10+ years) it will always be easier for ISU to drop out of polls than to work our way up them. Shouldn't have found a way to lose to a bang-average Iowa team.

Unless we blow out Baylor and a bunch of teams ahead of us lose... we still won't be ranked next week. 26th maybe, but not in. We'll have to wait until after we beat TCU.
