Curious where the conference win for KU comes from? I expect they will have one (WV).
ISU landing 2-4 in the conference seems right.
I think KSU or WVU. I didn't break out every game.

Yes they will. Minnesota will win the West.
As I said earlier, Minnesota was fortunate to beat the Jacks and will not win the west. Their coach is an unbearably arrogant pipsqueak.
Either Minnesota or Nebraska will win the best because they have the most favorable schedules to do so.
this is the type of year where Wisconsin wins the west after hovering around #20-25 all year.Either Minnesota or Nebraska will win the best because they have the most favorable schedules to do so.

True. It just seems like Wisconsin outperforms when they aren't expected to win, and then lays an egg when they are highly ranked pre-season. That could be recency bias. But my money is on Wisconsin to win the West.Just like Northwestern did last year.
ESPN has been scrolling odds to win National Championship and odds to win conference. They have:
Oklahoma
Texas
Iowa State
4/5 Okie State and TCU
Baylor
7/8 WVU and TTU
K State
Kansas

Texas played to their clippings. oSu was not impressive. TxT is my sleeper. WVU in for a long year. And I still believe TCU is way overrated.1. Texas
2. OU
3. Iowa State
4. TCU
5. Oklahoma St
6. Baylor
7. K State
8. Texas Tech
9. West Virgina
10. Kansas

OUToday, I'd say:
- OU - they looked the part v. Dana
- UT - hopefully, can handle LSU
- ISU - UNI game an enigma
- TxT - sleeper
- oSu - strong v. oSu
- BU - held serve
- K-State - excellent start
- TCU - frosh QB
- WVU - Missouri up next
- Ku - one win wonders?

They are still just the best program in that division, and actually, over the last 20 years, they are probably only behind tOSU in the b1G. All the teams in the west benefited from the east/west split but Wisconsin was the biggest winner.
Iowa's right up there as far a benefiting from the split goes. Hello Purdue protected rival... They also have Rutgers locked up for six years starting in 2022.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!SIAP
Pat Forde from the top rope!
Minnesota, Iowa State and Missouri (2) will all be undefeated going into November. The first College Football Playoff rankings will be released on Nov. 5. Are you ready for the Gophers, Cyclones and Tigers to all be in the top 10, and perhaps even one or two of them in the top five? Because it says right here that’s going to happen, before reality arrives like a fence post swung by Buford Pusser the following Saturday.
Minnesota, with an abundance of returning experience, will be 8-0 after playing South Dakota State, at Fresno State, Georgia Southern, at Purdue, Illinois, Nebraska, at Rutgers and Maryland. Then comes a visit from Penn State that will draw a lot of attention.
Missouri will be 8-0 after playing at Wyoming, West Virginia, Southeast Missouri, South Carolina, Troy, Mississippi (all at home), at Vanderbilt and at Kentucky. The last of those games is no lock, since Mizzou has lost four straight to the Wildcats, but karma will circle back around after last year’s robbery in Columbia. The Tigers will then lose by four touchdowns at Georgia on Nov. 9.
Iowa State will be 8-0 after playing Northern Iowa, Iowa, Louisiana-Monroe, at Baylor, TCU, at West Virginia, at Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. Then comes a trip to Oklahoma. But you heard it here first: The Cyclones are going to the Big 12 championship game.
I thought they did away with the protected rival thing, no?
