Nah if a member of a team continues breaking the same rules, at some point it's best for the team and possibly the individual if the coach cuts ties. I want Lard to be successful at Iowa State but not at the expense of the team.

Ok. Well I think it’s better for ISU and Lard if he gets his **** together and plays great the rest of the year. I get what you are saying but I don’t see how it is better for the team or Lard if that doesn’t happen.

I am worried about Lard next year when the current seniors leave. He's been living with Babb which can't be by coincidence.

Not much you can really do other than to surround him with responsible people and hope he figures it out.

Why does that even matter? Prohm isn't going to going isnt going to suspend a guy for nothing. When a guy continues to put himself before the team, something's wrong.

Has he been suspended? He didn't make this trip, I assume a suspension would come with some sort of an announcement? Lewis missed a trip earlier in the year and didn't make the trip, was he suspended?

If this whole thing is true, his behavior is not fair to the rest of the team and Prohm has been very patient with him.

I agree with that and Prohm has been very patient.

No doubt Prohm has been patient. It’s his job to deal with egos, personalities and players in whatever way he thinks is best for the player and ISU. Clearly Prohm has believed that is the best approach with Lard.

Yes, the head coach that is being paid millions of dollars a year to coach this team is responsible for the results. I know this is a foreign concept to many.

And its also his job to maintain a program, keep his athletes accountable, and help them grow as human beings.

Blaming Prohm for Cameron’s history of actions while he’s tried a number of different things to help him grow as a human being is certainly one of the most laughable things I’ve seen on the board this week

Those two incidents are very different. You’re comparing apples and oranges

I think he knows Cam needs ISU basketball more than the reverse. Still on the team for now, but wonder what this means considering he's been on thin ice for quite some time.

ISU basketball is not a Tony Robbins seminar.

If his history is important and he cannot live up to expectations then he should not have played one minute this season. Now an important part of the team is gone in crunch time. Just brilliant management by Prohm here.
