I don't understand why anyone thought we were in the hunt for the Big 12 title. Record wise we maybe were there for a bit but you can't watch this team and say they're a Big 12 championship caliber team.

We don't even come remotely close to Tech, Kansas State, or Kansas as a team. The freshmen, like freshmen are wont to do, are incredibly inconsistent. Announcers cherry pick a few stats to make guys sound good during broadcasts but this team has MASSIVE holes that have been there all season. They aren't just something that's coming out of nowhere now that we're in conference play.

I don't think you'll find a conference championship team Jacobson or Weiler-Babb would start on. They're role players we don't have a choice but to have them play minutes. Freshman for the most part don't start on conference title type teams unless they're McD's AAs. We start 2.

You aren’t going to win many games where you shoot 10% from 3 and your opponent is shooting almost 50% from 3.... at the end of the first half the team just went to sleep.... that didn’t help. Sucks to be swept by three teams. Let’s leave wave it at that!

Who all did we get swept by?

I was impressed with the resolve of our team to not let TCU bury us early in the second half. Fought hard, just couldn’t get shots to fall. Frustrating week, but still like this team. Everyone needs to relax. This team will be fine. If we win out the rest of the year, will tie our best conference record since Marcus Fiser was in a cyclone uniform.

Lol, what about the last 3 weeks of basketball give you any indication we are winning out? This team is gutless with a coach in over his head.

Think it might be time to start Wigginton over Haliburton. This team needs something to change

The time to start Wigginton was right when he was healthy enough to play. I'm not a fan of the earn your spot back, because then you run into situations like you have now when someone that's a starter is stuck on the bench. Wade didn't have to earn his starting spot back when he got healthy.

Wade is a more fundamentally sound player than LW.

We shot like piss, so not surprising that we lost, but once again pick and roll defense and defensive rebounding just horrible. I think about 6 times in a row in the first half TCU runs a ball screen, and Jacobson and Babb both go out and play soft defense on the ball handler, and no one on the weak side rotates over to do anything so the roll guy is wide open.

Shayok, Wigginton and Halliburton once again basically don't rebound at all.

This team has played really good defense at times this year. It's weird they've basically forgotten how.
