I think they probably would have taken 2 if not for the Dline attrition and with hooker leaving they took another DB as well.

If Iowa could have landed David Bell, this would have been one of KF’s best classes. The lack of WRs is a little bothersome though. ISM and Smith are both good players, but there is literally no proven depth behind them.

Usually that means they like some young players or there was a need elsewhere.

We do have a preferred walk-on in Kyle Krezek. At DT, he could potentially work his way into a scholly. I like his film. Hopefully a Jordan Carstens type.

He picked Iowa over Michigan State. Hopefully he can play a role similar to Sam Brincks last year and give quality reps at both DE and DT.
