It'll be revealed at halftime of tonight's UConn - S. Carolina game. This will give us a good chance to see what they think of ISU.

I posted in another thread that some of the ESPN talking heads had their 16 during halftime of one of the games yesterday. Had ISU as #4 in one region and Iowa as a #3 in another. Hopefully see something like that tonight. Wasn't paying close enough attention (muted during halftime) to see if this was the ESPN bracketology or the talking heads picks. Does match the bracketology.

Wondering if we will make it in that top 16 if we don't get either @texas or home to Baylor. Big 12 is really down this year. I'd like to think if we are in the 4/5 discussion the crowds we be able to draw would get us a 4.

I don't think either are key to a #4, but a win against either would cement a 4. Just can't trip up against anyone else prior to the tourney and then make it past the first round game. WV has a bit easier schedule as they just have one game left against Baylor, having already finished against Texas. If they lose to Baylor and we lose to Tx and Baylor, then we tie and WV likely gets the #3 because of their Texas victory.

Don't want the #4 seed in the Big 12 tourney.

Would love to meet Iowa again this time in the NCAA well into the Tourney.

Ordinarily I'd want nothing to do with playing Iowa in the tournament but for it to happen this year would likely require both to make the Final Four. So....

#4, pretty good, just need to hold serve and keep winning.

Agree with the talking heads that these regions are way unbalanced.. Good grief, Baylor and Notre Dame as #1/#2 in same region? What a screwing for the Bears.

ND may not win in that match-up.

Anyone else in the Big 12 I'd agree but for anything that puts Kim "I'm in the know" Mulkey behind the 8 ball I'm good with.

They also got screwed last year (by injury) when their Final Four caliber team took a huge hit when their PG Kristy Wallace had an ACL just before the tourney. I don't hate on Kim just because Bill does.

Still a lot of games to be played. Can't believe NC ST will be a #2. They've just hit the meat of their schedule and lost the first 2 of them. There's more to come I suspect. Oregon and Louisville are sure in the drivers seat with this current setup. ISU in my opinion has to beat TX in Austin to stay in. Losing to Baylor won't hurt in the committee's eyes. But if you lose to TX and especially one other it could really drop them down. On the other hand - beat BU in Ames and you got it. This is why we play the games to final buzzer. Much could change.
