It literally means nothing. There was a kid that got nominated from Ames that averaged 2 ppg and quit halfway through the season a few years back

We've been over that getting nominated doesn't mean anything. I had a kid on my hs team that got nominated because he was the only senior that wasn't going on to play college bball and our coach loved his work ethic.
It's dependent on if someone wants to take the time to nominate you, not on what you do on a basketball court necessarily.
