The mayor of Jamaica Iowa gets busted for a pot growing operation, something like 18 plants and 3# of product. The cops were looking for that dude that shot the woman in Ames last Sat. He is a step relative of some kind, cops were looking for him and stumbled across their grow house in the basement.

Welp sometimes timing is bad. Kid wasn't there but got busted for the pot. That might have been the most profitable business in that town.

I wonder. A town as small as Jamaica, Iowa...what, population under 300?...who do you suppose is the mayor’s clientele?

Every time I drive through Jamaica I wonder what the heck the were thinking when they picked that name. Not a lot of similarities.
