Playing so good right now. However, Chris Collinsworth is already giving him the Brett Favre love that Madden used to give Favre.

Exactly. I think everyone would agree that his individual season has been more successful than both Texas Tech's and Iowa State's football programs entire histories. I'm not digging on either program, but dude has been historically good.

ISU has had some historically bad years, so I guess there's that.

IIRC, Mahomes dinged up his shoulder while trucking Cotton-Moya when it was 10-10. He eventually came back, but the rout happened after he left injured. And now, seeing how good he is, it’s no wonder Tech gave up when he went to the locker room.

He has been in god mode practically all season. Him + Reid is a match made in heaven, only maybe a close second to Kamara + Payton.

I knew he was good in college, but his play this year has far exceeded my expectations. Doing now for the Chiefs what he did for Tech -- winning games with offense in spite of terrible defense.

You don’t remember correctly. Tech didn’t get 10 til ISU had 45. Mahomes went out when it was 7-3 and it was 21-3 when he got back in
