I hardly doubt getting your fourth guy off the bench was crucial in that victory.
It took me several times to make sure I heard what Pemsl said was what I thought. I almost thinks this needs a separate thread. ISU living in the head of all Hawk basketball players and staff. This is unbelievable that Pemsl admitted what we all know. Start the video at 34 seconds. I made sure I looked at the calendar also to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding Iowa game schedule...just wow:

I see Iowa scored the most points per game since 2002 this past season. BF isn't perfect, but he has done a nice job so far. Hopefully he keeps getting better.

What could possibly be the rationale for including either of those Iowa WRs over DeShaunte Jones?

Ummmm..... if Hockenson goes pro, then ISU probably has the top 3 TE's in Kolar, Allen, and Soehner. Definitely Kolar and Allen for sure.

Because DeShaunte Jones isn’t very good. He’s a slightly worse version of Nick Easley, and I would rather have WRs that have the ability to stretch the field.

Interesting take.... I guess most people would probably select that guy who leads Smith-Marsette in every statistic except fumbles and balls bouncing off their face mask for interceptions. But in your defense as an Iowa fan I wouldn’t expect you to be an expert in WR play.
