I re-watched the game yesterday.....not sure having all the students there would have made a big difference, sound-wise. (But those that weren't there will be sad they missed it!) Also nice hearing Fran rave about our team.

We don't really lay a smackdown on K-Boo all that often, so that was really satisfying.

Kansas was destroyed.

Fran is probably doing that since we are Iowa's only decent win.

I see baby is back on his every 2 hour schedule again

How old is he again? Found this on the internet since mine are too old to remember.

Although these milestones are usually reached between 4 to 6 months, every baby is different. Some babies may begin to sleep 5-6 hour stretches as early as 8-10 weeks while others may not find a longer sleep pattern until past 6-8 months.Jan 9, 2018

Not destroyed. Just soundly defeated. They will be back.

My babies weren't good sleepers until closer to 8 months and that was them improving to only waking up once a night if we were lucky. My third is still hit or miss sleeping all the way through the night at 20 months.

Yeah, most babies sleeping habits change often although it seems like every other parent will tell you what an awesome sleeper their child is. ;) I have an almost 6yr old who is up at least 1-3x a month still due to bad dreams. Don’t worry, once he hits the pre-teen/teen years he will sleep all the time. :)

One of our kids was a sleep walker, they grew out of it. I can't remember which. I do remember being told to not go to the child immediately upon them starting to cry. We were told to give them a few minutes to let them settle themselves. This did seem to work although it was a bear to lay there for those few minutes and listen to them cry and then try to fall back asleep myself.

Not me, I have a 6, 4 and 1.5 year old and I feel like I can count on one hand the number of times I've had a good full night of sleep since the oldest was born.

Saw Xavier Foster walking around the concourse at Hilton Saturday before the game. Was waiting to meet up with an old friend and see this tall guy come walking my way. There wasn't anyone with him so I knew it wasn't a kid on an official visit. Turned out he was at the game on an unofficial.

6 11 is tall to me. Heard he made it into the locker room after the game.

That has been me almost the past 16yrs. And if it isn’t kids waking me up, it is hubby’s snoring.

He's done 5 hour stretches before but is waking every 2 now crying pretty hard. Think he's struggling with gas again because he sounds in pain and fights having his legs wriggled to try and move it along. He had been on probiotics for a while in the fall and we got out of the habit around Thanksgiving when he got better. Been meaning to put him back on for a week or so now, finally remembered today.

I'm sure it sucks when you get used to sleeping longer stretches, but right now 1x sounds really nice! Eight months.......guess I've already made it past five, we can do this......maybe starting solids will help. Lol, I said that about hitting three months, being able to sleep on his tummy, it's all a crapshoot. I imagine whatever solids help, starting teething will undo.

Also, I thought this was @SCyclone posting and was like OMG, HIS KIDS ARE LIKE 25, THEY STILL DON'T SLEEP?!?

That's right, I think i remember you mentioning he had issues with milk. Coming from someone who is lactose intolerant, it does bloat you up like no tomorrow. The probiotics won't hurt to my knowledge so best to start those back up since it takes a day or two to really get them working well.

I tell myself this a lot at 3am. Someday he will be a teenager we can't drag out of bed!

Oh, and looking at my baby book over Christmas (since I'm the oldest and it's filled out to T) and it says that the first time I slept through the night was at 2.5 WEEKS old.
