There is a neighborhood right next to the stadium where you can pay to park and tailgate in people's yards. This is what we did last time with our RV and it was really fun. We were literally right next to the stadium and it really didn't cost that much money comparatively speaking. The yard tailgating with everyone around was pretty unique and cool actually. The KU fans were really pretty nice.

Agree. It’s a good setting in a high school meets Big 12 game type way, particularly for visiting fans.

Looks pretty nice for them. However, just like the saying "if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?", what if KU polishes their turd of a stadium and nobody is there to see it........???

Yes it is.

Will be in Lot 1 - $25 first come first serve right by stadium. Two years ago we were only ones in parking lot from 5:30 AM to 9:15... good times.

They didn't have a parking lot attendant show up before 8 last time... so feel free to do whatever you want.

Well, my string of going to Lawrence for the KU-ISU game will continue! My plans changed since my previous post in this thread - gonna head down Fri night (my bro - ISU grad as well - lives in Overland Park & we'll travel over together on Saturday). So pumped!!!!
