Main concerns are ISU timing, alignment, fundamentals early. If they get settled in by the 2nd quarter might end up being a good game.

A drubbing or something from what looks like a pretty average Iowa team would be a big disappointment but good learning for the weeks coming up.

Iowa 24-18.
I wouldda had us winning if we played last week and been able to get some experience.
+ We got new kickers who will play first collegiate game; we might miss some FGs, or have a punt block.
+ Kinnick.
+ Stanley led them on (3) 85+ yrd drives last year.
+ They're gonna miss Akrum and Jewell; hope that works for us.
Gawd, I hope we don't lose four in a row. Hope I'm wrong.

Iowa comes in over confident, ISU gets in early turnover, tastes blood and goes on to annihilate. 54-10 with Iowa's points coming in garbage time.

ISU holds onto their 10 point lead this time. 31-21.

Tavern Hocks get all domestic abusey with their cousins and burn the trailer park down. The rest of the night will be spent at the dive bar slurring "FIRE FER-RENTZ" and getting into brawls.

31-10 bad guys. Close game until the fourth quarter. Tight ends and fullbacks will wear down our undersized linebackers and secondary. Kempt will move the ball but stall in the red zone. Expect some bad kicks.

Ace Rothstein says their quarterback is on coke. Me and Nicky Santoro like the Iowa State team, 24-10.

Judging from last week Iowa might as well not even have one in and use an H-back. Ross ran by guys constantly. Guessing it wasn't a good film session for him this week.
