Seriously though, I cant wait for this week to get over. Way too much stupid all over

In years 1 and 2 of CMC I was most interested in how things looked by mid-October and this year isn't any different.

And so far it's been a nice improvement.

Main concerns are ISU timing, alignment, fundamentals early. If they get settled in by the 2nd quarter might end up being a good game.

A drubbing or something from what looks like a pretty average Iowa team would be a big disappointment but good learning for the weeks coming up.

Let me tell you something....a Drubbing is Never Good by anyone esp the ChokeEyes

Toren Young runs for 125+ and 2 TD’s.

Iowa’s D forces 3 turnovers and comes up with 4 sacks.

Iowa - 24
ISU - 23

We miss a field goal as time expires. I'm very concerned about kicking, punting, tackling, penalties, and offensive line. Not having a full game to prepare us is a MASSIVE blow. Lord I hope that I'm wrong.. Losing to Iowa 4 times in a row would suck and that would also be 3-8 over the last 11 against our biggest rival... Iowa has also scored over 80 points against CMC... I hate playing the Debby Downer but that's what my gut is saying

I was thinking about the kicking game too for this one. It is still a major question mark.

Just remember the name Brady Reiff. He is still pissed about his Uber ride downtown. Gonna cause havoc on Saturday.

Mandel: “I’ll take Hawkeyes QB Nate Stanley over the Cyclones’ Kyle Kempt.”

Me too, Stew. Me too.

I think it could go either way, depending on turnovers or a special teams mistake (punt block specifically) I think if ISU wins it will be by 10 or more. If Iowa wins it will be by 7 or less. I am gonna officially go with... 27-17 ISU win!

If our TEs can block, I think DM can have a big game around the outside. It might be a passing game to open up the run though -- pretty sure Iowa will be keying on Montgomery. I'm going to go 27-21 good guys, with DM getting a combined 120 yds, and Butler with two TDs.

I am going 35-27 ISU. I think ISU will have a slow start but I really think they will be focused and ready to take down Iowa. I just don't think Iowa has enough play makers to make a enough difference for them to win the game.

I am a little surprised by how little this game is being discussed as in the past way more post by Iowa fans on this board than ISU fans.

GO CYCLONES!
