Interesting... Cremo would be a good fall back if Langford stays home. I always thought it was down to Vandy or IU (once they got Mack) for RL. That said I don't want to count Self out for late unexpected pickups. Wiggins, Jackson and the Lawson bros all appeared as relative long shots when they announced to KU.
All depends if the check clears in time

Would have been beyond fishy for Mr. Indiana to go outside the state to play for Ku, a program under FBI scrutiny, nonetheless. Buying talent isn't new but presently it's not in vogue.

So I assume you felt it was fishy when 2017 Mr. Indiana went to UCLA? When 2016 Mr. Indiana went to Virginia? When 2015 Mr. Indiana went to Purdue? When 2014 Mr. Indiana went to Kentucky? When 2013 Mr. Indiana went to Michigan? When 2012 Mr. Indiana went to Michigan State?
No? None of them?

Of the 23 4 or 5 star kids from the state of Indiana in the 2013-2017 classes, a grand total of ONE chose to go to Indiana. But yeah, you're right, if Langford chose anything but IU, it would have been suspicious...

Hike up your pants, you bias is showing.

Langford definitely going to IU. KU is going to be hosting grad transfer Joe Cremo after he visits Nova. Imagine Nova will have the upper hand since he is from the northeast.

Doesn't Albany have another dude transfering? Isn't Cremo and sit-one / play one? Or maybe the other guy.

You really breezed over this part of what he said:

Cremo is a grad transfer. Not sure if they have anyone else. I think Cremo grew up like 4 hours from the Nova campus so it seems like the natural landing spot, especially if Divencenzo leaves.

A Hoosier legend coaches at UCLA. Kentucky borders Indiana. Purdue is in Indiana. You may not have known that. The other schools are all in the Big10 sans one and it's an academic powerhouse.

Beyond UK, well, anyone going to UK gives me pause but no more so than Ku. Both are known cheats.

So, I'm glad Langford stayed loyal to his state school, as I predicted would be the case.

Good grief. What a load of laughs. Here on Planet Earth, we all realize that staying in state in Indiana has meant virtually nothing to the vast majority of the best players from the state of Indiana, despite how much you claim it means to them. It's not 1985 any more; parents can see their kids play anywhere now.

Miller has done a good job shoring up the borders of the state this year. But if they dont do something big with it this year it will be for naught because they stunk last year and Langford will be gone after 1 season.

On to the next recruit.

I agree. There's plenty of Brian Bowens, Billy Prestons, and Cliff Alexanders in the world for the Louisville's and KU's to keep $igning.

Vick's hired an agent.
He still hasn't made the NBA combine cut.

Self just missed on the Langford back up plan... Joe visited KU this past weekend.

@CBB_Central Albany grad transfer guard Joe Cremo has committed to Villanova, per @byesline. Elite shooter who can create offense and has good size. Great get for Jay Wright, adding some insurance that will be especially valuable if Donte Divincenzo leaves early.
